I was born in Montenegro. I love my country. And I want to tell that to every person in the world.

Do you know how beautiful my country is? Have you ever heard of her? That small, defiant lady who proudly stands among the most beautiful on Earth.

Did you know she is as old as centuries themselves, and that her beauty has remained untouched—crowned by mountain peaks and rivers, stretching across valleys and the sea with the most mysterious emerald eyes in the world?

If you wonder why she is called Black, it is because she holds within her a tapestry of colors—an endless play of shades that merge, dance, and collide from dawn until dusk. Her color is black because she is both final and eternal.
She is Gora - a mountain - because she rises above all, because from her heights she declares: “I am here, and I stand on the front line when it comes to protecting and nourishing every being that walks upon me.”

Montenegro… a land of stone and flame. A land of good people, pure air, seas, rivers, lakes… endless mountains and ancient towns… stories… history…

I can travel and see the whole world, but I will never—and I do not want to—find a place more beautiful than her.
Perhaps my words sound naïve or blindly devoted, but so is my love for her. I want to embrace every stone she holds and guard her from being forgotten, because she deserves nothing less.

That is why, for years, I’ve been trying to bring her closer to every traveler who comes to meet her for the first time. Some stay, some only pass through—but that is my mission: to show her to everyone, to help them fall in love with her, and to inspire them to respect her like a queen, like a noble soul who shares everything she has without hesitation.

From beauty to kindness and hospitality—these things are rare… and fading fast.
